Okay, let me be completely honest here.
I have completely forgotten what The Atlantis Conspiracy was about. This isn’t one of those movies where I can’t remember specific details either. Aside from the fact that there’s a corporation called Atlantis and there is a conspiracy involved, I’m at a complete loss for words. MTI’s plot description is even more vague than my recollection, and the only review I found of the film didn’t shed any light on the matter. The only notes that I typed as I watched the film are contained in the following full paragraph.
The Atlantis Conspiracy has a certain childlike stupidity to it for its first thirty minutes that is admirable. It so desperately wants to take a familiar plot and put a different spin on it, but it’s that spin that causes the film to soon go completely flat.
And right below it, I had the rating that I marked down after the film was finished, which is seen to the left.
If I had journalistic integrity I’d rent the film again.
But I don’t, so go screw yourselves.
DVD: Barebones.
